Just think about it….

• f(x)=g(x)
• f(x)+U=g(x)-U

They give out the same derivative, since they are basically the same function. Even if there is Implicit Differentiation that is impossible to convert into explicit differentiation, it is still the derivative of the function; therefore, the analysis definitions still applies.
